Frequently Asked Questions
What is Webhooked?
Webhooked is a free tool for receiving, inspecting and debugging webhooks. It gives you a temporary URL where you can see exactly what's being sent, including the request body, headers, query parameters and HTTP method.
How does Webhooked work?
Click Create Webhook and you'll get a unique URL. Point whatever you're testing at that URL, send a request and see what comes through. No account, installation or configuration required.
Is Webhooked secure?
Each webhook gets its own randomly generated URL. Requests are stored temporarily on AWS and automatically deleted after 24 hours. Access to the backend API is protected by server-side authentication. Anyone with your inspector URL may be able to view the requests, so avoid sending passwords, access tokens or sensitive customer data.
What is Demo Mode?
Demo Mode simulates the order management dashboard of an ERP system. Perfect for showing clients how integrations work in a way they'll understand. Choose from SAP, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce, Oracle or Sage X3, and your webhook requests will appear as sales orders in that interface. Sort of. These are unofficial simulations for demonstration purposes. Webhooked is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of these software providers.
Is Webhooked free?
Completely free. No accounts, subscriptions or usage plans. Webhooked is built for quick testing, so requests are automatically deleted after 24 hours rather than stored indefinitely.
How is Webhooked different from other webhook inspectors?
There are plenty of good webhook inspectors out there. Webhooked keeps things simple. No registration, no CLI, no local tunnels and no setup to worry about. You just need to click one button to get started. Go on, give it a try.
